The Pool or the Sea?

The Pool or the Sea?

Now that’s a Spiti Prifti holiday kind of dilemma!

For lovers of the Blue, there is probably nothing like the real thing, the water in the sea.

For first time swimmers, however, the safe confines of a pool can often feel more reassuring.

Learning to jump unaided from the side of the pool, or putting one’s head under water for the first time, is much easier done in a pool.

Then again it’s easier to float in the salty sea, plus there is the infinite fascination with the natural wonders of the not so deep.

Fortuitously Spiti Prifti Apartments has both, a pool and garden oasis and child friendly beaches at walking distance.

At the heart of Spiti Prifiti is an 18metre long sparkling pool. Here you can relax by the poolside under an umbrella, sipping on a cool drink from the pool bar, whilst lying on a sun lounger all day long.

From here you can watch the kids playing safely as they make new friends, or get to know the people next to you, if they don’t have their nose in a good book that is.

If you feel peckish then you can enjoy a snack or two in the shaded pool area and then a game of billiards if doing nothing gets too much.

The pool is available to all Spiti Prifti guests throughout the day until 19:00 p.m. Thereafter it is time for a poolside cocktail or a candlelit dinner for two.

The advantage of Spiti Prifti is that you can pool it by day and go down to the beach late afternoon.

Gouvia Bay is a natural enclose with shallow waters and small pebble shores, just a couple of hundred meters from Spiti Prifti Apartments.  It has sun loungers for rent, a beach volley ball court and water sports for all ages.

Kondokali Beach is a sandy alternative, for lovers of the sea, a little further towards Corfu Town. Friendly waters and a small beach café that provides sun loungers and umbrellas, is frequented by tourists and locals alike.

The advantageous position of Spiti Prifti, on the outskirts of Corfu Town, with good public transport connections to Dassia, Barbati and other beaches to the north, make it the best accommodation to keep everyone happy and swimming.
